The Merrimack Valley Hub grows out of work initially started as this site's Community Services Directory. It is the result of a collaborative effort among New Beginnings, The Greater Lowell Family Resource Collaborative, UMASS Lowell, The Lowell Police Department's Weed and Seed Program, and Lowell Telecommunications Corporation. Development and support of the site is provided by the Community Software Lab. In addition, the redesign of the site, and specifically the Community Services Directory, has been made possible by a grant from the Annie E. Casey Foundation and donations from individuals. We have also received feedback and support from the Greater Lowell non-profit community.
